Hajime Sorayama
is world famous for his intense hyper-illustrated style, creating images
which are 'better than life'. His drawings of women are so detailed and
glow with such a golden vibrancy that its tempting to think they're photographs
but here art always improves on nature. Sorayama (thats him on the left)
is the outstanding modern portrayer of the erotic form, head and shoulders
above any of his contemporaries.As well as his mainstream erotic art he
also enjoys shocking the public with pictures that explore themes of bondage
and fetish. He was born in 1947 in Ehime Prefecture, Japan. After
graduating from the Chuo Art School in 1969, he began to work for an advertising
agency in Tokyo. Since 1972, he has been working independently as a free-lance
illustrator.His published books include: Hajime Sorajama, Sorayama Hyper
Illustrations, Sorayama Hyper Illustrations Part 2, The Gynoids, Naga,
Torquere, and The Complete Works 1964-99. Sorayama now resides with
his wife and two daughters in Tokyo, Japan. I have to say that Sorayama
is my very favourite erotic artist. When I die and go to heaven (as I undoubtedly
will after leading such a blameless life) the females there will all be
